Welcome to The Liscawn

The Liscawn is a charming, family run 14th Century hotel set in 8 acres of quiet, peaceful grounds with beautiful views across the valley and fields to the hills of Dartmoor.

We offer a choice of double, twin and family rooms. All our rooms are ensuite and we have two ground floor access rooms of which one is also wheelchair friendly. We are licensed for Civil Weddings and functions. Currently we are only catering for our residents' breakfast and dinner. We are not open to the general public at the moment but hope to reopen in the future.

All of Cornwall, near and far, is ready to be explored.

The South West Coast Path and beaches are just a few minutes away, suiting all from those seeing a casual stroll or a day by the sea to the adventurous looking for an invigorating hike. Nearby, the magnificent country houses and gardens at Antony and Mount Edgcumbe offer a memorable day out for all the family. The picturesque coastal villages of Looe, Kingsand, Cawsand and Polperro will beckon you to meander through their narrow streets and experience Cornish culture with an ice cream or pasty in hand. Whitsand Bay Golf Course is on our doorstep and Looe and St Mellion Golf Courses are nearby.

We are only a short drive from Plymouth with its historic Barbican area, live performances at the Theatre Royal and the marvels of the deep at the National Marine Aquarium. The many National Trust properties in Devon and the miles of open moorland on Dartmoor are also within easy reach.
